Family origins and history
Cantine Patrì was founded as a family-run farm in 1936 in the Butera area (in the province of Caltanissetta), when Rocco Paterna started the business by cultivating the land.
In the following years, management passed to his son-in-law, Giuseppe Patrì, who, with vision and determination, led the company through steady growth.
The tradition continued with the next generation: his son Rocco, together with his wife Patrizia and their children Giuseppe, Elisa and Daniela, chose to decisively enhance the family’s winemaking heritage, dedicating one third of the approximately 250 hectares of owned land to the production of premium wines.
